Holiday DIY with RISE Kombucha

DIY Noël avec une bouteille en verre | The Weekly Brew

Decorating for Christmas doesn’t have to stop at buying a few pre-made decorations.
A little creativity goes a long way when creating the perfect Christmas décor!

Reusing things you already have at home, such as the ever-versatile glass bottle, can help you save on Christmas decorations and create a unique atmosphere. Good thing you have all those RISE Kombucha bottles lying around! You’ll see, they’ll come in handy.

To help awaken your inner artist, we have three simple craft suggestions that’ll get your bells jingling! And chestnuts roasting. You know what we’re saying.

Little Christmas Branches

DIY Noël avec une bouteille en verre | The Weekly Brew | Blog RISE Kombucha

The first step to creating this simple and affordable DIY craft is finding the right branches. Set in RISE’s long, cylindrical bottles, these little red branches are the stars of the show. Using real branches will give this decoration rustic charm, not to mention that it’s more affordable.

You’ll need:
– 3 large RISE Kombucha bottles (the flavour is up to you)
– Small branches found in your neighbourhood park or bought at a store (we won’t judge you)

To make magic happen:
Insert the branches in the bottles, throw in a few pinecones, and there you have it! A simple and not at all tacky Christmas decoration. (When Christmas is over, you can even replace the red branches with other branches or flowers. See ya Santa!)

« CHRISTMAS » Bottles

DIY Noël avec une bouteille en verre | The Weekly Brew | Blog RISE Kombucha

If you can use a glue gun without sticking your fingers together and have at least five regular-sized RISE bottles at your disposal, this craft is for you.

You’ll need:
– 5 or 9 regular-sized RISE bottles (5 for X-MAS, 9 for CHRISTMAS)
– A hot glue gun and some extra glue sticks
– White spray paint
– A black Sharpie
– Gloves

To wow your guests:
1- Trace the letters of the word “Christmas” (or “x-mas”) with a black Sharpie. One letter per bottle. The Sharpie letters will help ensure that your letters are nice and symmetrical when you’re tracing them with hot glue.
2- Fill in the letters with hot glue and let dry.
3- This is where the gloves come in. It’s time to spray the bottles with 2 to 3 layers of white paint, so they’re nice and opaque. (We recommend doing this outside, as spray paint has a strong chemical smell.)

Golden RISE

Sophisticated and warm, gold is the perfect touch to add to any Christmas décor. In this easy DIY craft, we’re shining up some RISE bottles for a bit of Christmas glamour.

You’ll need:
– 3 large RISE bottles
– Masking tape
– Gloves
– Gold spray paint

To make it shine:
1- Decide which parts of the bottle you want to paint gold, and cover the parts you want to remain clear with masking tape. Make sure to apply the tape evenly so your paint lines are straight.
2- Put on the gloves, go outside, and get spray painting. Let each layer dry for about 10 minutes before reapplying, as this paint doesn’t stick as well as the white paint.
3- Take off the masking tape, and there you have it!

For extra fanciness, we encourage you to put some little LED lights inside the bottles. We guarantee these bottles will catch your guests’ eyes and will put them in a jolly good mood this holiday season.
